
Porikroma Desk : The Career and Placement Center (CPC) of North South University hosted the Opening Ceremony of the 13 th Batch of the Bangladesh Japan ICT Engineers Training Program (B-JET) today. Shinnusuke Tasaka, Program Manager of B-JET, introduced the 34 newly selected trainees, who underwent a competitive selection process.
Professor Mohammad Khasro Miah, Director of CPC delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the program’s significance. His closing remarks at the Opening ceremony encapsulated the program’s commitment to excellence, emphasizing the invaluable opportunities it provides for trainees to excel in the global job market.
B-JET equips trainees with Japanese language proficiency, cultural insights, study techniques, business etiquette, and technical knowledge. It also provides comprehensive support for interview preparation and resume writing, enhancing employment prospects in both Japan and Bangladesh. Upon successful completion, participants will receive certificates from the University of Miyazaki.
The dedication of B-JET teachers, including Takeo Uzawa, Sina Sarder, Jubayear Ahmmed, and Jayonto Ray, was applauded for their contributory role in training ICT graduates.
Celebrating its success, the program has seen over 350 individuals graduate, with 225 securing prestigious jobs in Japan. The grand closing ceremony of the 12 th Batch saw the presence of distinguished guests,
including Mr. Kiminori Iwama, the Ambassador of Japan, and Chief Representative of the JICA, and Country Representative of JETRO.
