Former students of Dhaka College who passed higher secondary education, HSC, in 1990 have formed an association and declared a new committee to remain united.
Mahbubur Rahman Sajib is the President and Hammad Mujib Rupon is the General Secretary of the 50-member committee. The ex-students met in a get-together on March 16 at the Sung Garden restaurant in Eskaton, Dhaka, where they announced the committee.
Those who live outside Bangladesh also joined the event virtually. It was a grand get-together, said a press release. Established in 1841, Dhaka College is the oldest educational institution of Bangladesh located in New Market.
The college is famed for its higher secondary education. It also offers Honours and Masters which are affiliated to the University of Dhaka.
